The Houston Texans started playing in the NFL during the 2002 season. After the city of Houston was devastated by the loss of the long time Houston Oilers who are now the Tennessee Titans, the city of Houston was awarded and expansion franchise. The Texans are now an exciting up and coming franchise led by Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson.
